I love the Home Shopping Network and I love this crazy bitch. Maybe it’s the bright red hair, maybe it’s because she’s the mastermind behind the Sex and The City styling, whatever it is, I’m hooked. If there’s one thing I love more than her though, it’s HSN. I’m gonna go ahead and make a quick hypothesis regarding this obsession. Shit is HEREDITARY. Seriously, alcohol addiction, acne, etc has to do with genetics. Make room; HSN addiction is topping the list. My mom has a credit card with them (God help her), and has that channel on blast 24 hours a day. I watch it under different circumstances (drunk, 3am) but it still has the same effect and offers the same high. (Yea man, HIGH.) The most current situation I can think of in which I wasted a few hours of my life had to do with dog harnesses and body slimming tights. The dog harness was purchased (but on backorder, hi Chili). The body slimming tights were all sold out in my size/color. Rats.
I’m done dipping into my embarrassing files for right now though. The reason why I’m even bringing this up is because my girl, Patty F, is doing an exclusive line for HSN entitled, “Destination Style, New York,” It will consist of 50 pieces ranging from sportswear and denim to dresses and accessories. The line will debut on September 23 and air the entire week. I’ll clearly be MIA during that time period aka locked up in the house, on the couch, wearing complete sweatsuits and eating icecream.
